Kye Shimizu is a Japanese design graduate from Keio University in Japan, that works with code to explore existing boundaries in fields such as fashion and computational design.
A prolific collaborator, he works closely with researchers and designers to inquire upon the relationships of real and virtual, analog and digital.
His recent project Algorithmic Couture looks into the fashion design process to create different conventions of design for a more sustainable future.
He works in collaboration with fashion designers, machine learning engineers, and digital fabrication specialists to collectively think ways about how we create the future of fashion.
Algorithmic Couture was also selected for the Judge's Award at Wired Creative Hack Award.
