This Cape Town-based illustrator's creative journey starts with thinking about ideas whether for personal or client projects. He has a strong belief in the power of street art and its ability to give a place life or meaning. He is inspired by the natural beauty surrounding the space within which he works, like his project for a modern youth centre in Villiersdorp.
His most successful project is an illustration zine called Fresh, which featured different artists. Interest in the zine was widespread and it sold out in various parts of the world. The zine brand went branched off into Hanning founding a sketch club in Vietnam, which he hopes to to launch in Cape Town too.
